management committee

A management committee is the board of directors for purposes of the Nonprofit Act.  See also Index, board of directors for relevant provisions of the Nonprofit Act, as well as other relevant information relating to boards (and management committees) generally.

On this site, the term "board" is used inclusively to mean the body regardless of name, with primary authority to manage the affairs of an association, including a management committee.  For instance, the Index items "action without meeting - board," and "meetings, board" include management committee meetings.
